Animals, people, cartoons and landscapes- detailed sketches and pen art by an award winning artist, Kyoko Bartley will be on display and open to the public at Small World Coffee from February 5th to, March 3rd 2020. Small World Coffee is located at: 14 Witherspoon St. Princeton (https://smallworldcoffee.com/)
Kyoko will be at the show to greet guests on February 7th (Fri), 7 PM – 9 PM.
Kyoko Bartley is an artist who resides around the Princeton area. She is an art instructor at Princeton Adult School for American Comic Book Art class. She believes in people’s creativity.
Heavily influenced by American movies, comic books, and pop culture since a young age, Kyoko started working as a freelance artist when she was in her teens. She received her masters degree in media science from Saitama University, and she found an outlet for her art skills at Japanese technology firm as an industrial designer at a Japanese technology firm.
During she was in Japan, she experienced various collaborations and publishing internationally.
This is her second solo show after she moved to the U.S. She is an American Comic Book Art instructor, at the same time, she draws and paints pets and family portraits to create one-of-a-kind artwork for customers. She donates 20% of the proceeds from her pet and animal works and commissions to a local animal shelter.
