Character and Comic Artworks by Kyoko Bartley
Growing up inspired by American animation, my style reflects that influence, with an emphasis on clear lines, strong contrasts, and expressive characters. My love for comics and character art has continued to guide my creative journey.
My style is defined by fine, high-contrast black-and-white lines that give each piece a sense of depth and realism. I focus on anatomical details, capturing lifelike muscle structure, dynamic poses, and a tangible sense of movement to bring each character to life. I aim to convey a feeling of physical presence that makes each character visually compelling and full of energy.
It’s been an honor to receive a few awards for my work, which encourages me to keep growing in this field. Whether it’s custom character design, comic panel illustration, or conceptual work, I’m committed to adding value to each project with a careful eye for detail and authenticity. I appreciate the opportunity to work with clients who seek an artist with a dynamic style and a respectful, collaborative approach.
While I cannot publicly display most of past commissioned work or contributions here due to copyright restrictions, I’m happy to share my portfolio privately with those interested in working together. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to see examples of my work.
