Carp Jumping Over the Waterfall

This piece was for Franklin Park Public Library Solo Exhibition 2019 Summer.

This is a pen art of carp jumping over waterfall.

There is an old episode that Carp (Koi fish) jumps over the waterfall and river,

it becomes dragon, then dragon goes to sky

and transform into a phoenix.

This traditional story and art is believed as luck of “promotion” among Japanese culture.
